Media coverage of famous people’s private lives

I don’t think media should report famous people’s personal lives for the following three reasons.
The first reason is that it is an encroachment on human rights to make public famous people’s private lives. Whether they are famous or not, it is wrong to broadcast people’s private lives. Actually some famous people get mentally ill because of media’s persistent intrusion. This is something that should not be allowed.
The second reason is that it might cause famous people to commit suicide. Many Korean actors and actresses commit suicide because of malicious rumors and slanderous comments on the Internet and if media broadcasts famous people’s private lives, this kind of defamation and suicide of famous people will prevail more and more.
The final reason is that there are more things that should be made public. For example, politician’s activities should be made more public in detail in order for people to know about the politics and reduce political corruption.
As I mentioned above, for the aforementioned three reasons, I don’t think media should report famous people’s personal lives.
