Should high-school education become compulsory?

I don’t think high-school education should become compulsory for the three reasons.
The first reason is that high school doesn’t prepare young people for real life. Ordinary people do not need to study overly-advanced subjects such as algebra unless they want to be a specialist in that area.
The second reason is that it can be a great hindrance to someone. There are people who have decided not to pursue an academic career. For example, it can be a real obstacle for people who want to be a musician to succeed because high-school education does not help them at all to pursue their music career.
Finally, there is absolutely no reason why it should be compulsory. If high school is to be compulsory, it should be useful for everyone because if it is not, it is just a waste of time for some people. However, it is not beneficial for everyone. Therefore it should not be mandatory.
As I mentioned, for the aforesaid three reasons high-school education should not become compulsory.
