I think it will affect education in Japan in many good ways. (@)
I think smaller classes are better than bigger classes for the following two reasons. (A)
Firstly, it allows you to get to know other students better. Not only do you get to know their perspectives about class work, but you learn about them as a person. Therefore you have a higher chance in meeting new friends. This is a real benefit because one encounter with one person can change your life dramatically and friends are one of the most important things in life.
Secondly, it allows you to get to know teachers better and vice versa. So, you will have a good chance to get one-on-one help from teachers. This is a real benefit because it is very instructive, especially for earnest students, to have closer contact with teachers. Therefore it enhances the quality of education.
Finally, teachers can discipline students more easily through increased attention to individual students. As the number of juvenile delinquency is increasing, it is very beneficial to be able to discipline students more effectively.
As I mentioned, I think it will affect education in Japan in many good ways. (@)
