When individuality can turn into selfishness?

Essay

The definition of individuality is the differences from others, and the definition of selfishness is only caring about oneself and not caring about other people. According to the aforementioned definitions, individuality turns into selfishness whenever one takes different actions from others and does not care about other people.
Therefore, basically all individualistic deeds which are done without considering other people are selfish whether they are beneficial to others or not. Of course it is selfish to do whatever one wants with causing harm to others. However, it is also selfish if a surgeon with special skills saved a person just because he or she wanted to and not because cared about the patient.
Moreover, individuality called “self-sacrifice” is egregiously selfish. It is selfish not to make an effort to be happy themselves because unhappy people who don't make an effort to be happy themselves make others unhappy, which means they do not care about other people. Unhappiness is contagious and whoever is spreading negativity is selfish.
In conclusion, individuality turns into selfishness when one takes different actions from others while only caring about themselves and not caring about other people.
