Has the Japanese work ethic changed?

I think the Japanese work ethic has changed for the following three reasons.
The first reason is that Japanese people have come to change their jobs more easily than they used to. Many Japanese people used to work for one company until they retire. However, as the lifetime employment system breaks down and job performance is being more and more valued than seniority, now there is no incentive anymore for the people to work loyally for one company.
The second reason is that many young Japanese people are no longer willing to have a full time job. Now Japanese people tend to prefer a more carefree life instead of having a fulltime job and work seriously for a company. Many Japanese people used to think work should be the first priority and private life comes after that. However, now many people come to think that family and their private life should take precedence over work.
The third reason is that more people work from home. Now that telecommuting is more readily available than before, many Japanese people start their own business on the Internet instead of getting a job and working for a company.
As I mentioned, for the aforementioned three reasons, I think the Japanese work ethic has changed.
